  Excellent pizza, never thought a little town in Beech Mountain NC would have such a delicious pizza. Highly recommended. Also, good atmosphere and servers!

  The hostess that was working in the evening on 12/30 was not a people person. She made us aware that they only had 2 persons on their wait staff and service will be slow. 10 minutes later, I asked the hostess of we could at least sit down at a table and not stand (I only asked because there were only a few tables occupied and plenty of empty ones). She sat us down and someone immediately came to our table and took drink order (simple beer, water and tea) and there was not another sight of her for at least another 10 mins. We simply left and no one batted an eye when we said something it. I'm glad that they at least told us their was going to be a delay in service but a delay this long with the few people that were in the restaurant didn't seem appropriate.

  Went to this place the day after thanksgiving which is a holiday weekend and opening weekend of ski season at Beech. They had 2 servers and 1 cook working. It was beyond slow service. After waiting close to 45 minutes for food it all came out wrong and cold. Please don't waste your time and money at this establishment. Fast Eddys is light years better than this place. We get the same excuses each time we visit Mile High Tavern..."our order got held up at the other restaurant and we are out of that". Always out of something at all times at this place. Locals don't visit this establishment for a reason, so tourists please don't waste your money either.

  Good for a bite after you get off the ski slopes. Wouldn't make a special trip just for the food. Great bar, though.
